Peace progress South Sudan
AEPI was pleased to witness the progress being made with the South Sudanese Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) last month. This new parliament, emerging from the peace agreement, brings together both opposition and ruling party MPs. The Clerk immediately contacted AEPI to discuss induction training for the 550 new MPs and staff. Apart from giving them the necessary tools to implement peaceful governance, it will also assist in reuniting the different parties in the interests of fermenting the peace process.
